Emma had surgery on Monday to remove nasal polyps that she had developed. At the last minute, her physician also decided to correct her nasal deviation. The surgery took a few hours but everything went great.
It’s Thursday and she is doing well. Tuesday she slept a lot. Yesterday, she ate a lot. Today she is watching movies beside me.
Her pain has been minimal, which I am very thankful for. She has a follow-up next Monday. She will start allergy shots on Monday as well as a prevention to more polyps from hopefully happening in the future.
Our week has been filled with caring for Emma, keeping up with what life brings at us and just getting through this week. I’m so thankful that Em has done so well and hopefully this surgery has corrected her issues.
