Happy 40 Years to Me!

June 20, 2019 by Dana

{Found this image online and I love it!}

I turned 40 today. And I’m honestly excited about that. 40 is an amazing milestone to make.

The past 40 years haven’t been the easiest. From the very beginning I’ve been a fighter. At 3 weeks, hanging by my neck in my crib, my Mother worried if I would make it and here I am 40 years later still going.

I’ve had ups and downs, I’ve had many challenges, broken-hearts and found love. I’ve had 4 gorgeous babies that I am madly in love with. I’ve questioned faith and found it. And I am overjoyed with my life every day.

I can’t honestly say I would have felt this way 5 years ago but today I see nothing but happiness, love and joy daily. Life is wonderful. I look forward to the future of our family and to every tomorrow we have. And I really wouldn’t change a thing about my past 40 years.

The seasons of life are short and as I head into my next decade of life, I embrace all my future brings. My heart bursts with happiness and love. And it’s all I could ever ask for at this time.

Here’s to my next 40 years… may they be all they surpass the last 40 and bring more joy and happiness every day.

{Chilling on my porch, makeup free, messy hair, enjoying the breeze with a full heart of love}

Until next time…
